Be the answer, not just a result.

Czech customers now ask Google, AI Overviews and ChatGPT before they buy. We combine classic SEO with answer-engine and generative-engine optimisation, written by native Czech and Slovak speakers, so people and AI models both trust what they find about you.

Why now

Search has changed. The data is blunt.

AI answers are eating clicks that used to reach websites. Being one of ten blue links is no longer a strategy. Being the source the answer quotes is.

AI Overviews’ share of Google searches roughly doubled in two months of 2025
8% vs 15%
Clicks on classic results when an AI Overview appears, versus without one
−34.5%
Drop in CTR of the top organic result under an AI Overview
+41%
Visibility lift in generative engines for content with expert quotations

What we do

Three disciplines, one goal: you get found

One programme that covers how Czechs and Slovaks search today, from the classic results page to the AI answer above it.

SEO

Technical health, site structure, on-page work and content that ranks. For Czechia that means Google and Seznam, which still holds a meaningful share of local search that foreign teams routinely ignore.

AEO

Answer engine optimisation: answer-first content blocks, FAQ and structured data, entity clarity. The goal is to be the answer Google shows, in snippets and AI Overviews, not the link below it.

GEO

Generative engine optimisation: quotable statements, statistics, cited sources and clean fluency, the exact tactics the Princeton GEO study measured, so ChatGPT and Perplexity cite you when your market comes up.

The local edge

Why native speakers decide this in Czech and Slovak

Small languages, thin data

AI models are trained mostly on English. In smaller languages like Czech and Slovak they lean on a much thinner pool of local content, so a clearly written native authority is easier to become and worth more once you are it.

Czech breaks translations

Seven grammatical cases, diacritics and word order that carries meaning. Translated copy misses how Czechs actually phrase questions, and models parsing entities notice. We write natively, we never just translate.

We watch the answers

We monitor what AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity actually say about you and your category in Czech, and we feed that back into content. Most agencies still only watch rankings.

Common questions

SEO for the Czech market, answered

What is AEO and GEO, and how are they different from SEO?

SEO gets you ranked in classic search results. AEO (answer engine optimisation) gets you picked as the direct answer, in featured snippets and AI Overviews. GEO (generative engine optimisation) gets you cited by AI assistants such as ChatGPT and Perplexity. The tactics overlap but are not identical, so we run them as one programme with three outputs.

Does Seznam still matter in Czechia?

Yes. Czechia is one of the few countries where a local engine still holds a meaningful share of search, especially among older and more traditional audiences. If your customers are Czech, ignoring Seznam means leaving demand on the table, so we optimise for Google and Seznam side by side.

Our Czech pages are translations. Is that a problem?

Usually yes. Czech is a highly inflected language with seven cases, and translated pages tend to miss how people actually search and read. AI models pick that up too. We rewrite key pages natively rather than polishing translations, and that alone often moves results.

How do you measure success?

Not by rankings alone. We track qualified organic traffic, leads and revenue, plus answer-level visibility: whether AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity mention you, what they say, and which sources they cite for your market.

Do you cover Slovakia as well?

Yes. Czech and Slovak are closely related, and we prepare native content for both markets. One programme can cover czech.cz and slovak.sk domains with shared research and separate native copy.
